At Shoreside Aerial we offer aerial still photography and video using state of the art remotely controlled quad-copters and octo-copters commonly known as Drones*. By harnessing the power of this safe and cost effective technology we are able to offer aerial imaging to be used in filming for broadcast or web videos; real estate marketing (both still photographs or promotional videos); industrial inspections of buildings, roofs and other assets (real time and recorded); surveying and 3D mapping; and marketing material for all industries.
Our compact and lightweight drones provide a versatile solution to obtaining the aerial photos and video you need. They are highly manoeuvrable allowing us to get into the perfect position for the perfect shot. Each multi-rotor is equipped with the latest camera stabilization, flight controllers, GPS navigation systems and safety features. Our cameras produce full HD video and up to 16mp still photos in a wide variety of formats. They can be set up and ready to fly in minutes enabling us to quickly take full advantage of weather windows when they appear.

Industrial Applications & Marketing
Document a Project: We are all being held more and more accountable for the work we carry out. Aerial photographs and video of a construction project, taken at regular intervals can provide valuable evidence of the progress of that project as well as evidence that it is being completed as per the contract. It is a quick and cost effective way of documenting exactly what is happening on site.
Roof and Building Inspections: In the increasingly demanding world of Health and Safety companies are always looking to reduce the risk on site. Sometimes that risk can be mitigated by sending a drone up to inspect a roof or the cladding on a building rather than dangling a human from great heights. The drone can do the job much quicker, more efficiently at a lower risk. If a worker does need to resolve an issue following the drone inspection, they are armed with valuable information allowing them to be more efficient.
Surveying and 3D Modelling: The proliferation of drones has sparked some fantastic software development designed to utilize aerial images. One sector which has benefited significantly is surveying and mapping. By using a technique called Structure From Motion (SFM), multiple overlapping images can be combined using software like Pix4D Mapper or Agrisoft to create a point cloud similar in appearance to data acquired by Lidar. By integrating some traditional surveying techniques, a 3 dimensional, geo-referenced model can be created to be exported to other CAD software for you to work with.
